We identified a species of histone H3 phosphorylated on serine 57 and showed that it is involved in responses to DNA replication stress. Here we asked whether it is specifically localised in the human genome by ChIP-seq from human osteosarcoma cells (U2OS) growing exponentially or treated with 2mM hydroxyurea for 2 hours to stall DNA replication forks
