Abstract

Metaplastic papillary tumour (MPT) of the fallopian tube is an extremely rare lesion. To the best of our knowledge, only 12 cases of MPT have been documented in the literature to date, usually detected incidentally upon examination of fallopian tube segments, removed for sterilization postpartum. Just one case has been reported pregnancy-unrelated (1).
