Abstract RFamide-related peptide-3 (RFRP-3) has been postulated as the suppressor of the reproductive axis at hypothalamic, pituitary and gonadal levels. Considering the hypothalamic level, RFRP-3 can suppress the activity of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) neurons and their upstream neuronal stimulator, namely; the kisspeptin neurons. The effects of the RFRP-3 on the other regulators of GnRH neurons, however, are not completely investigated. Furthermore, substance P (SP)...

Spasticity after lesions of central motor pathways may be disabling and there is a need for new, cost-effective treatment methods. One novel approach is offered by the electro-dress Mollii®, primarily designed...
Body weight support systems with three or more degrees of freedom (3-DoF) are permissive and safe environments that provide unloading and allow unrestricted movement in any direction. This enables training of ...
Experimental designs using surrogate gait-like movements, such as in functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), cannot fully capture the cortical activation associated with overground gait. Overground gait i...

Abstract Introduction A major challenge in the surgical resection of brainstem tumors is distinguishing tumor from normal tissue. One approach for addressing this problem is the use of fluorescent tracers such as sodium fluorescein (NaFl). NaFl disseminates through a disruption in the blood-brain barrier (BBB) and accumulates in the extracellular space of brain tumors. Intraoperative fluorescence microscopy can be performed to identify...
Abstract Background Craniosynostosis is the premature closure of cranial sutures and it continues to be a therapeutic challenge due to the diversity and complexity of the syndrome. Bibliometric analysis is a study of ranking citations and exploring the most impactful articles in a respective discipline. It also demonstrates the chronological trends of publications. Methods...
